About BartCharts

BartCharts is a comprehensive template system created by a private ED group in a high acuity clinical setting. They have been enhanced over time, based on both physician and billing company feedback. Both BartCharts Paper Documentation and BartCharts Electronic Documentation utilize the same set of templates. These can be customized to fit your Emergency Department's needs.

BartCharts Paper Documentation uses traditional pen and paper, and is offered at a one time fee without ongoing annual fees. BartCharts Electronic Documentation uses digital pen technology. The digital pen system allows doctors to continue what they're already doing (i.e. using a pen on paper templates) instead of forcing them to do something that is more time consuming and difficult (i.e. endless windows and dropdowns with much typing).

Additionally, electronic BartCharts logic improves clinical decision-making with best practice prompts, improves documentation with chart completeness prompts, and ensures proper re-imbursement with level of care prompts.
